Portfolio
Below you will find samples of my recent work. Click on the images to the left to see the websites or applications in their entirety.
Jane Addams Book Award
The design for this site was already created. My job was to work within the confines of the existing header and color scheme to create a more modern look to the Book Award section of the site. I implemented a Picture Flow application for the most recent years of award books. I built a navigation menu with rollovers for subsections. I offered suggestions on reorganization of the different sections of the site. This site was built using DreamWeaver CS3 and Photoshop CS3.
Blackwell Library, Salisbury University
I served as the chair of the library's Web Committee to redesign the homepage and the library navigation bar. The new design focuses on the user's needs by bringing search functions to the forefront. I also utilized a widget to incorporate updates from the library's blog, and kept additional links on the homepage to a minimum. Usability tests were also conducted to evaluate the new design and layout. This site was built using FrontPage and ASP.
First Christian Church of Athens
The design for this site began as a template, which I customized for FCC. I used DreamWeaver to create this website.
Butler Landscape Management
The design for this site began as a template, which I customized for BLM. I also set up its domain and hosting for the website. I built the special features of the photo gallery using Adobe Fireworks.
Tampa Bay Library Consortium
I built this website's HTML, CSS, and some PHP/JavaScript in Adobe Dreamweaver. I currently operate on a contractual basis with the Tampa Bay Library Consortium.
Pendragon Games
I updated the web presence for Pendragon Games, which includes their newly designed website, online forum, and photo gallery. The design for this site began as a template, which I customized for Pendragon. I also set up its domain and hosting for the website.
Facebook custom HTML tabs for Ask a Librarian

After Facebook's many application Developer incarnations, I abandoned making apps in favor of creating tabs for the Ask a Librarian's Page. These tabs are customizable for individual libraries.
MySpace Web Application for Ask a Librarian

This web application is an evolution of the above Facebook web applications. These web applications can also be added to individual users' profiles. I built the original application's design, structure, and coding. I adapted it's current format from the new software provider for MySpace.
West Central Cluster of Unitarian Universalists
The design for this site began as a template, which I customized for the West Central Cluster.
Spirit of Life Unitarian Universalists
I took this site over from the original designer, created all of the content and built its more complicated features using JavaScript and web applications.
